Get8Net Acceptable Use Policy

Welcome to Get8Net's Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"). We value your trust and are committed to ensuring the safe and responsible use of our services. Please take a moment to understand the guidelines outlined in this AUP. This AUP is an integral part of your agreement with Get8Net, ensuring that our services are used responsibly and in compliance with the law.

Scope of This Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all services provided by Get8Net. It's essential to review these guidelines to determine if the services you've acquired are subject to additional, service-specific prohibitions.

Acceptable Use of Get8Net Services

.1.Compliance with Applicable Laws: You must use Get8Net services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

2.No Resale Activities: Engaging in resale activities is not allowed. This means you may not sell, resell, sublicense, assign, license, or offer Get8Net services or any part thereof on a service-bureau or time-sharing basis.

3.Avoid High-Risk Use: Get8Net services are not designed for high-risk use. Using our services in situations where service disruption could result in personal injury or death is strictly prohibited. It's essential to have fail-safe alternatives in place for such scenarios.

4.Respect Intellectual Property and Privacy: You must not infringe, misappropriate, or violate anyone's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, personality, publicity, or otherwise. Displaying or using Get8Net's marks without consent or in violation of our policies is not allowed.

5.Protection of Minors: Exploiting or causing harm to minors is strictly prohibited. This includes exposing them to inappropriate content or requesting personally identifiable information without parental consent.

6.No Malicious Activity: Transmitting harmful materials like viruses, time or logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, malware, spyware, or any other dangerous programs is not allowed.

7.Avoid Objectionable Behavior: Act responsibly and avoid indecent, offensive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, libelous, fraudulent, malicious, disruptive, tortious, or any other objectionable behavior. Making calls or sending messages containing phishing or spam content is not permitted.

8.Honesty and Transparency: Do not misrepresent your origin or identity. Creating a false caller ID (e.g., ID spoofing), forging addresses or headers, or using technical measures to misrepresent your identity is prohibited.

9.No Information Harvesting or Spam: Do not harvest or collect information about third parties or End Users without their consent. Sending bulk communications without proper consent is also not allowed.

10.Avoid Excessive or Unauthorized Use: Use Get8Net services responsibly and within reasonable business limits. Do not interfere, inhibit, compromise, or harm our services or the Get8Net Network.

11.No Circumventing Compliance or Security: Do not attempt to take advantage of, bypass, exploit, defeat, disable, or circumvent the limitations of our services, security mechanisms, or compliance with this AUP or any law.

12.No Interception: You must not intercept, capture, sniff, monitor, modify, emulate, decrypt, or redirect any communication or data for any unauthorized purpose.

Additional Guidelines for Get8Net MVP Services

Our MVP (Most Valuable Partner) services are intended for regular business use between individuals and are not suitable for high-volume commercial messaging or call center calling. In addition to the prohibitions mentioned above, here are specific guidelines for Get8Net MVP Services:

No Auto-Dialing or Predictive Dialing: Avoid auto-dialing or "predictive dialing."

No Trunking or Automated Use: Do not trunk or forward your Get8Net phone or fax number to other numbers that handle multiple simultaneous calls or to a private branch exchange (PBX) or a key system.

Maintain Human Operation: Use the services consistent with typical human operation. Avoid the use of desktop automation software or similar tools that violate our SMS/MMS Content Policy or send voice calls or text messages indicative of phishing or spam.

These guidelines are designed to ensure responsible and safe use of Get8Net services. We define "End User" as an individual user of the services, which may include but is not limited to a customer's employees, consultants, clients, external users, invitees, contractors, and agents. Terms defined in the Agreement have the same meanings when used in this AUP.

Immediate Action for Policy Violations

Get8Net may suspend or terminate services immediately and without notice if we determine that your use of the services, or the use by your End Users, violates the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Cancellation of Services

You have the option to cancel any services purchased under this Agreement. Please provide written notice to Get8Net within thirty (30) days of the purchase's effective date. In such cases, you will not owe any fees or charges for the services beyond the date of the written notice, except those arising from continued usage. You will also be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any prepaid and unused fees for the services subject to the cancellation. After 30 days, all purchases become final.
